We’re not just a clinic; we’re the result of years of passion, vision, and collaboration. Born out of the need for accessible, affirming health care for the LGBTQ+ community, we’ve worked closely with public health leaders, advocates, and YOU to make it happen.

To provide cutting-edge care in a space where everyone feels safe, respected, and empowered. Open Door Health was built with one goal in mind: to make sure everyone has access to the care they deserve. Our doors are always open, and our commitment to affirming, inclusive care never wavers.

Our Community Advisory Board (CAB) helps us stay in tune with the real needs of the people we serve. They’re an essential part of shaping our services and ensuring we’re always learning and growing together. At Open Door Health, every voice matters.

The Rhode Island Public Health Institute (RIPHI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to solving complex public health challenges through direct action, policy advocacy, and research. Open Door Health is part of RIPHI, and represents our most ambitious project to date.
